In Loving Memory of Belen Ramirez-Rocha

January 24, 1954 - July 8, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Belen Ramirez-Rocha, who was called home to be with the Lord.

Born on January 24, 1954, in Compostela, Nayarit, Mexico, Belen passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of July 8, 2025, at the age of 71 surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Martin Jose Rocha.

Belen leaves behind her cherished children: Virginia (Jorge) Hernandez, Mildred (Roberto) Muro, Nastasha Evans, and Roderick (Nataline) Evans.

She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Miguel, Jonathan, Kevin, R’Marion, Brenda, Roderick Lorenzo, Angelina, Na’Ryah, Alina, Azaleah, and as a proud great-grandmother to Jonathan Jr.

She is survived by her sisters, Maria Guadalupe Oliva, Maria Elvira Velazquez and her many nieces and nephews.

Belen was the heart of her family and a pillar of her community. She cared for her loved ones in every way, as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her hospitality, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others made her a beacon of light to all who knew her. Belen had a special gift for bringing people together and made everyone feel like family, regardless of where they came from.

She instilled in her family a deep love for life, encouraging them to embrace each day fully and to see meaning in every connection made along the journey. Belen left no one behind, and her absence will be deeply felt. Her memory and the legacy of love and service she leaves behind will be forever celebrated.

Services for Belen will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025 at St. Joseph Church located at 837 Tennent Ave. Pinole, CA 94564. A Celebration of Life will be hosted in her honor immediately following services. In honor of her, we kindly invite all who attend to wear her favorite color, pink.
