Barbara "Barbie" Remillard entered peacefully into rest in Hayward on January 24, 2018.  She was 87 years old.

Born in Oakland to Elmer & Agnes Boehmer on March 29, 1930,  Barbie was a lifelong resident of Alameda County.  She worked at Chabot College as a grill cook for 25 years.  Barbie enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading gossip magazines and especially caring for her family.  She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Barbie is survived by her loving children, Ed, Lynn, David, Earl II and Earlene; siblings, Doris Rose, Ethel Davies, Pat Abreu, Ralph Boehmer and Elmer Boehmer; grandchildren, Sabrina, Jermaine, Joshua, Zachery, and Rick. great grandchildren:  Alex, Ashley, Savannah, Jaylen, Madison, Chelsee, April,  Stephan, Courtney, Jermaine Jr, Isiah and Nevaeh; great-great grandchildren, Parker, Mason, Itzell, Edward; many cherished extended family and friends.

Barbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl in 1976.
