Barbara entered peacefully into rest in Dayton, NV, at the home she shared with her daughter-in-law, Theresa, and Theresa’s husband, Tom. She was born in Oakland, CA, and spent 68 years in San Leandro, CA, where she enjoyed time with family, tending to her orchids, and any excuse for a board game or hand of cards. Barbara was active in the St. Felicitas Bowlers, the tap dance group Golden Follies, and loved the 16 years spent in the square-dancing group Skirts & Flirts.

Barbara was blessed with a very large, blended family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law and husband, Theresa & Tom; grandchildren Christey, David, and Jason; 3 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; 3 stepchildren Dennis, Steve (Lorraine), and Matt; step son-in-law Al; 5 step grandchildren Amy (Phillip), Daniel (Deanna), Katherine (Matt), Natalie (David), and David; 10 step great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Linda & David; her son Ronnie Barbano in 1977; her husband of 38 years, Orville; stepdaughter Mary; and step daughter-in-law Teresa.

Friends and family are invited to attend services on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Visitation is from 9-11am, and Memorial Service from 11am-noon at Grissom’s Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA.
