Barbara Ann Sumner entered peacefully into rest in Pleasant Hill, California on March 6, 2020. She was 85 years old. 

Born March 20, 1934 in New York, New York to parents Gertrude and Cornelius Regan, Barbara worked for over 60 years as a homemaker, after receiving her Master's degree. She is survived by her two sons and many other loving family members and friends. She will be missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary.
