Barbara Anne Irwin, known to family and friends as Bobbi, or Baba, entered peacefully into rest in San Ramon, California on April 3, 2021. She was 74 years old.

Born October 10, 1946 in Gustine, California to parents Rosie Dahlbeck and Joseph Rose, Barbara graduated from Orestimba High School in Newman, California. She went on to work ats a hairdresser (self employed), cafeteria manager for the Lodi Unified School District, and secretary at St. Joachim Catholic Church. She worked for 43 years. Barbara loved sewing, crafting, shopping, walking, watching The Young and the Restless, spending time with her grandkids, and playing cards (especially Pedro). She was a member of the Garden Club, Daughters of Isabella, and Sunny Glen Community.

Barbara is survived by her children Bryan Irwin (Marcie) and Gwendelyn Pinkela (Eric); grandchildren Jordan Woodson, Rebeka Garcia, Ashlee Irwin, Pennelapea Irwin, Anastazya Pinkela and Oliver Pinkela; sister Mary Jane Vargas; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Pennel Irwin; mother Rosie Dahlbeck; sister Dorothy Fontes and brother Joe Rose. Barbara will be deeply missed.
