Anneli S. Laine, born on November 26, 1936 in Teuva, Finland passed away on December 2, 2025 in Hayward California at the age of 89 years old. 

She was a long time resident of Castro Valley, and previously resided in San Leandro and Oakland. 

Anneli was a person with a cheerful disposition. 

She enjoyed being with her family and her friends and she loved to dance.  

To relax, she liked being out in nature and being with her pets.  

She was a member of the Finnish Brotherhood Hall and FAHA and attended many of the functions and celebrations there throughout the years. 

She had her own business for over 40 years as a massage therapist and was dedicated to her profession and her clients. 

Anneli is survived by her daughters Ritva, Tina, Tuula and her son Timo.  

She was the wife of the late Unto Laine. 

A memorial for Anneli will be planned in the upcoming Spring of 2026, tentatively, late April  at the Lutheran Church of the Cross.
