Anita Platero, 78 years old of South San Francisco, CA (resided in San Lorenzo, CA for 15 years) passed away on October 12, 2022. 

Anita was born June 5, 1944 in La Grulla, Baja California, Mexico to Irineo Solorio and Abelina Leon.  She was one of eight girls.  

In 1968 Anita met her love Ernesto and married March 1, 1969 in Reno, Nevada raised 3 children Ana, Fernando and Elizabeth. 

Anita was a loving wife, mother, Nana and great-grandmother.  She loved spending time with her family!  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to the casino and sharing her love with others.  Our beloved Mom is truly missed each and every day.  

Anita is preceded in death by Irineo (Father), Abelina (Mother), Rosa Maria (Daughter), Sisters – Bertha, Rosa and Teresa and Anthony (Grandson).   

Anita is survived by her loving husband Ernesto Platero of 53 years, beloved mother of Ana Quon (David), Fernando Platero (Rosie), Elizabeth Platero (Manuel), loving Nana to Stephanie (Danny), Sara (Brian), Fernando, Jr., Tommy, Alex, Bianca and Mateo and great-grandmother to Kinsley. She leaves behind four sisters Consuelo (Connie) Benoit of Pacifica, CA and three sisters which reside in Mexico Elvira, Consuelo and Pilar and her fur grandbabies Simba, Chato and Panterita. Anita leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
