Alphonsine D. Oates entered peacefully into rest in Oakland, California on June 4, 2024. She was 68 years old.

Born October 20, 1955 in California to parents Sally and Alphonso Oates, Alphonsine worked as a county clerk for 35 years. She is survived by many loving family members and friends and will be deeply missed.
