Albert "Al" Luis Ortegon Sr. entered peacefully into rest at home in Oakland, California on June 10, 2019. He was 64 years old. 

Born November 29, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents Dolores and Arturo Ortegon, Albert worked as a maintenance technician at Martin's Maintenance Service for over 25 years after graduating from high school. He loved football and was a lifelong Oakland Raiders fan, but more than anything, he loved being around his family. 

Albert is survived by his ex-wife of 7 years, Lori Romero; children Albert Ortegon Jr. and Sabrina; grandchildren Elisa Cordova, Janessa Dovala, Lalla Dovala, Manuel Dovala, Santino Dovala, Alexander and Izrael Ortegon, and one grandson on the way; and great granddaughter Ava Norton. 

Visitation for Albert will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA. Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, also at Grissom's.
