Akobi Winston entered into eternal peace on April 22, 2022. He was 41 years old. 

Born on March 19, 1981 in California to Michael Winston and Leslie Carter, he worked as a painter for a boat repair company for 7 years. He will be greatly missed  by many family and friends. 

A 10:30AM chapel service will be held on May 4, 2022 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary located at 267 E. Lewelling Blvd San Lorenzo, CA 94580. Akobi will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery located at 5000 Piedmont Way Oakland CA, 94611.
