Alita “Marie” Morales, the daughter of Harold and Hazel Campbell, was born August 30, 1940 in Hall West, Virginia passed away at her home in San Lorenzo, Calif. on July 13, 2017 with her loving husband, Francisco Morales by her side. She is survived by her sisters Sue, Linda, Phyllis, Nancy, Donna, her children; Virginia De Shane, Larry Doerr, Michael Doerr, Connie Horton, Sophia Morales, her step children; Peter Morales, Liz May and Linda Pfost. Alita was preceded in death by her sister Shirley and stepson Frank Morales. Alita was an important part of a beautiful blended family of 9 children, 20 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren

Marie worked for over 30 years at the Bethseda Christian Retirement home, was a member of St. John’s Church in San Lorenzo and loved gardening and admiring all the colorful flowers in the garden, traveling, shopping and baking beautiful pies with perfect golden crust.

Alita loved life and spending time with her loving husband dancing, traveling, hosting family gatherings and caring for her pets~dogs, cats, birds and a hamster.

There will be a celebration of Alita “Marie” Morales life on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 5 pm
