Akhil Chand entered into rest on July 19, 2022, at the age of 63.

Akhil was born in BA, Fiji Islands, on March 18, 1959, to parents Mani Ram and Chandra Wati Ram. After completing his educational pursuits, Akhil went on to manage Chand's Arco AM PM gas station. During his free time, he enjoyed horse riding, playing soccer, and listening to music.

Akhil is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anita Devi Chand, his children, Ashika, Priyaneka, and Ashnita, and his siblings, Sangeet Chand and Sarita Prasad. He is preceeded in death by his siblings Nirbhay Chand and Indu Chand.

Care has been entrusted to Grissom's Mortuary.
