Aina “Nangi” R. Docena entered peacefully into rest in San Lorenzo, California on February 26, 2022. She was 63 years old.

Born February 1, 1959 in the Philippines to parents Bart Cedamon Docena and Aurora Racaza, Aina worked as an underwriting analyst for Starr Indemnities for 34 years. She also served as a qualified nurse aide, certified medical transcriber, certified hospital unit assistant, and certified medical secretary. She loved singing karaoke, reading, planting, holding family parties, giving to others, dancing cha-cha and going to the casino.

Aina is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Michael T. Rowley; daughter Agena Marie D. Rowley; siblings Bart Docena Jr., Ben Docena, Bobby Docena, Ber Docena, Bleth Docena, Barry Docena, and Ann Julie Docena; and many other loving family members and friends, and will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Aina will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 2 – 7 PM, at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, with a Vigil to begin at 6 PM. Services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11 AM, also at Grissom’s. Aina will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014.
