Adriana (Tabarracci) Orselli

Adriana Orselli died at home, as was her wish, on March 3, 2021.  Adriana was born in Marseille, France on March 31, 1926.  Her family relocated to Massarosa, Italy when she was 12 years old. She lived a long, fulfilling life which included traveling internationally.  She married her late husband, Adolfo, in July 1950.  They were married by proxy – she was in Italy and he was in Argentina.  At age 24, she sailed by herself to Argentina to finally start her life as a young bride.  They returned to Italy in 1953.  In 1958 the entire family immigrated to America.  They were married 63 years. 

Adriana was a life-long seamstress, working both professionally and for pleasure.  She enjoyed all crafts involving the use of her hands. She also enjoyed cooking and had an extraordinary green thumb, loving her garden. 

She is survived by children, Louis Orselli of San Lorenzo, Fabia Massaro and her husband Bob of New York, grandson Carl Massaro of Florida, granddaughter Camille Massaro-Menz and husband Tim Menz and great-granddaughter Cecilia Menz all of New York. She is also survived by a younger sister, Luisa Rovera of Massarosa, Italy and numerous nieces and nephews, all living in Italy.

Due to the current situation, there will be no visitation or Mass.  There will be a private Internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
